CT Technologist | Webster, New York

Seeking a motivated imaging professional experienced in CT and CT/PET technology for a contract assignment. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic services and patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification in Radiologic Technology; CT and/or PET certifications preferred
• Demonstrated experience operating CT and CT/PET equipment
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and relevant regulations
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to adapt to varying workflow demands

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and CT/PET scans according to established protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain process to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Safeguard and maintain imaging equipment; troubleshoot minor technical issues as they arise
• Document patient data and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record system
• Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes
• Uphold stringent quality control, safety practices, and infection control procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
