nShort Description
This job requires the candidate to perform CAT scan procedures following protocols established by the radiologist and operate the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department. Maintains the work area by reporting Maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies, and deficient. Participates in Clinical activities and adheres to all infection prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed. nExperience Required
nGeneral, Trauma and ED;
nnExperience with Pediatrics and Cardiac preferred but not necessary
nEducation Requirements
nGraduate of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist Program. Enrollment in or graduation from a qualified Computed Tomography program preferred
nLicense/Certification Requirements
nCurrent BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
nCurrent ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
nCurrent NJ-RADTECH License (Radiologic Technologist).
nARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography preferred. If not at the time of hire, within 12 months of employment.
