The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures with precision, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images to aid in accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
Operates imaging equipment, sets exposure factors, positions patients, processes images, and collaborates with radiologists. Ensures proper documentation, labels images, and maintains quality control. Provides patient care, monitors safety standards, and administers IV medications under supervision.
Qualifications & Skills
Requires ARRT registration, with CT certification within six months. Preferably has one year of CT experience. Must hold valid state licensure and BLS certification. Possesses strong electronic navigation skills and professional conduct.
