About the Facility
Join the CT team at a Level III Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center in Milwaukee, WI (933 beds). This department operates 5 scanners and supports a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with strong ancillary support.
Inpatient, outpatient, and ER cases — including general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert protocols, CTA perfusion studies, and chest/abdomen/pelvis/head scans. Occasional pediatric cases (teens, ~2-3/month, no peds experience required). Procedural support for biopsies and drains. 1:1 patient ratio.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of CT experience in a hospital setting (first-time travelers accepted)
- Active BLS and ARRT-CT certification
- Experience with GE equipment preferred (GE Revolution & Evo)
Unit Support
- Other CT techs and Radiology RNs on-site
- RRT and Code Blue team available
- Centralized transport
- EPIC charting
- No on-call requirement
- No floating
- Weekend-only schedule (great work-life balance for the right candidate)
- Holiday expectations: just 1 summer + 1 winter
