CT TechnologistAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists to support operations at the Syracuse VA Medical Center located at 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse NY 13210. Services to be provided include the full range of CT Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients to include call shift. Multiple shift schedules with on-call service are available.

To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and position patients for CT imaging proceduresPerform a full range of CT examinations including: Abdomen, chest, head/neck, spine, CTA, PE protocol, GI bleed; Cardiac CT, interventional CT, biopsies, post-EVAR, renal mass studiesAdminister contrast agents and monitor patient responseOperate CT scanners (including multi-slice/128-slice systems)Perform general radiographic imaging as requiredTrack and document CT radiation dosesEnsure high-quality imaging and correct artifacts when necessaryMaintain sterile supplies and assist with interventional proceduresEnter imaging data and documentation into VA systemsFollow ALARA radiation safety principles and infection control policiesClean and maintain equipmentCommunicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and staffQualificationsARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and Computed TomographyActive, unrestricted Radiologic Technology license (U.S.)Minimum 3 years of experience in CT imagingExperience with advanced CT procedures (cardiac, interventional, 3D reconstruction)Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and contrast protocolsPACS and electronic documentation experienceEnglish language proficiencyBLS certification (AHA)Completion of VA credentialing, training, and background requirementsOngoing continuing education and competency validationNo sponsorship availableAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
