CT Technologist

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join a cutting-edge radiology department in Syracuse, NY. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in an outpatient setting, performing both CT and general radiography procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and general x-ray exams with accuracy and care, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Interpret and follow physicians' orders and scanning protocols.
- Administer contrast materials as required, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients, answering all questions and addressing concerns.
- Operate and adjust CT imaging equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, DNV, NYS regulations, and departmental procedures.
- Apply proper radiation safety techniques to protect patients and staff.
- Report equipment malfunctions and document findings using PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
- Assist with quality assurance, area cleanliness, and inventory management.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Medical Radiography.
- ARRT certification (Radiologic Technology License & Registration).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Medical Radiology Technologist.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of CT imaging experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Occasional Saturdays and overtime may be required.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate: $34.00 – $42.00, based on experience and qualifications.
