Seeking a skilled imaging professional to provide critical support in CT and X-ray diagnostic procedures within a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity offers a rotating schedule that combines a blend of day and night shifts, providing versatility and a comprehensive clinical experience.
Schedule
- Rotating shifts: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- One overnight shift per month: 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- 1-2 weekends per month
Qualifications
- Valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
- Demonstrated experience in both CT and X-ray imaging
- Active state licensure as required for Radiologic Technologists
- Proficiency with imaging equipment and digital PACS systems
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to adapt to a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Previous hospital or acute care setting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray exams on patients of varying acuity
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and accurate patient identification
- Produce diagnostic images and assist physicians with prompt image interpretation
- Maintain thorough documentation and manage imaging records
- Provide compassionate, effective patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation as assigned
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary clinical teams
