Computed Tomography Technologist
Site: Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. (1133 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA)
Schedule: 36 hours per week (Wednesday / Friday 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; evenings/ weekends on a rotating basis)
Job Summary
We offer a generous sign‑on bonus of $20,000 to welcome new hires. The CT Technologist works hands‑on with patients, manages room workflow, and performs imaging on in‑patients, out‑patients, and emergency department patients. The role includes entering charges and contrast details, ensuring timely image availability for interpretation, and following departmental workflow plans. The position is on‑site with a night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography imaging on in‑patients, out‑patients, and ER patients according to department protocols.
- Enter accurate charges and contrast details for all exams.
- Ensure imaging availability for timely interpretation.
- Maintain workflow efficiency and effective communication with hospital staff and vendors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support department operations and patient care.
Qualifications
- BLS required.
- Graduate of an approved radiologic sciences program.
- Registered or eligible for CT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Maintain ARRT or equivalent certification and registration within 90 days of start.
- Massachusetts Department of Public Health licensure for Radiologic Technologist required.
- ARRT registry in Radiologic Sciences and in Computed Tomography required.
