PRN Weekend Shift CT Technologist
to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in computed tomography (CT), for adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and supporting on‑call and portable exams.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing advanced imaging modalities with a focus on CT procedures
- Ensuring quality control and accurate imaging
- Collaborating with surgical teams using state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic tools
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)) and/or CT certification
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience; preferred 2+ years
- Licenses including IEMA (Illinois), ARRT, RT, CT, MR, and others as applicable
- Additional certifications such as CPR and IV therapy are advantageous
Key Attributes:
- Strong technical skills in advanced imaging modalities
- Ability to work independently and in flexible PRN schedules
- Experience with CT-guided biopsies and procedures is a plus
