Role Overview
This position is for a PRN Weekend Shift CT Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, interventional, mammography, and bone density on both adult and pediatric patients. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and may assist with on-call, portable exams, and procedures rotation.
Responsibilities Include
- Ensuring proper patient and equipment preparation
- Executing imaging procedures accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining quality control standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or equivalent in a related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience preferred, with additional certifications such as CPR and IV therapy advantageous
- Licenses including IEMA (excluding MRI), ARRT, CT, MR, among others
- Experience in radiology, medical imaging, or related fields is preferred
