Role Overview: The PRN CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT), on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
- Perform studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and other site-specific tasks.
Qualifications And Skills
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT.
- Minimum of 1 year CT experience preferred.
- Experience in radiology, medical imaging, or related areas is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
- CT Certification and/or prior CT experience.
- Ability to work a flexible PRN schedule, with a minimum of 20 hours every 6 weeks.
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), and certifications like Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Intravenous Therapy are preferred.
