Job Summary
As a CT Technologist , you will operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and tissues used to diagnose medical conditions. You will prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and position them to capture optimal images requested by the physician.
Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions and administer contrast materials.
- Prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of patient care.
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures.
- Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification.
- Vocational School Graduate (CT training).
