Key Responsibilities
- Performs imaging procedures with professional judgment, ensuring patient care and safety.
- Recognizes patient conditions, provides instructions, and obtains clinical history.
- Accurately positions patients and equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Assesses images for technical quality and proper annotation.
- Applies radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
- Proficient in contrast administration, venipuncture, and managing adverse reactions.
- Ensures compliance with regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Assists in supervising and training technologists and students.
- Maintains cleanliness, organization, and safety of work area and equipment.
- Provides patient transport and maintains proper documentation.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist license and current BLS certification.
- ARRT (R) or (CT) certification or NMTCB (CT) certification.
- No prior experience required.
