CT Technologist PRN

Job Summary

Do you want a PRN career as a CT Technologist with your current employer? Lee’s Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, has an exciting CT Technologist PRN opening. The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures with ionizing radiation, following professional and departmental standards. The role requires high‑quality image acquisition to support physician diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when required.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Provide post‑procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare and clean the CT room between patients, using aseptic technique.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred, with additional CT training.
