Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CT exams on patients both in the department and with portable equipment.
- Float between CIRH and IRH units as needed.
- Explain procedures to patients and create a comfortable environment.
- Use proper patient positioning and technical factors to produce quality diagnostic studies.
- Operate a CT scanner to produce cross‑sectional images of desired anatomy.
- Administer contrast media as directed and monitor patients for adverse drug events, reporting accordingly.
- Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
- Perform clerical duties as needed, such as answering phones.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist and current state license.
- At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
- ARRT or CMRT certification.
- BLS certification.
- Current with continuing education in all fields of licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating facility‑specific equipment.
