CT TechnologistWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality radiographic and CT procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.Summary of Duties and ResponsibilitiesCT and Radiology Imaging Perform CT and general radiology exams (including C-arm and portable) following established protocols.
Prepare and position patients, ensure radiation protection, and maintain comfort throughout procedures.Contrast Administration Administer contrast agents under Radiologist supervision per site-specific protocols.Equipment Operation & Maintenance Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine quality checks, report malfunctions, and coordinate service calls as needed.Compliance & Communication Maintain CT competency and adhere to departmental standards. Communicate professionally with team members regarding exams and patient status.Patient Care & Support Greet patients, explain procedures, assist with transfers, and provide reassurance.
Inform patients of post-exam instructions.Administrative & Transport Duties Answer phones, schedule imaging appointments, and assist with workflow coordination. Transport patients or perform portable imaging in rooms, ER, or surgical areas.Quality & Safety Participate in quality control programs, ensuring proper radiation protection, patient safety, and adherence to best practices.Education & TrainingAssociate degree from an accredited school of radiologic technology.Maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Wisconsin state license.ARRT CT certification preferredSkills & AbilitiesStrong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact professionally with patients and families.Patient-focused approach with empathy, patience, and understanding.Ability to explain technical information clearly and follow detailed instructions.Organizational skills for planning, prioritizing, and maintaining accurate documentation.Competence in operating radiographic equipment and interpreting technical data.Ability to work effectively in stressful or traumatic situations and with diverse populations.Hours, Wage & BenefitsHours: Night Shift 9p-7a Monday- Thursday (4- 10-hour days) Holiday RotationWage: starting at $29.93 with increases depending on experienceComprehensive Benefits Package Includes:Generous night and weekend differentialsMedical, Dental, and Vision insuranceLife and Short-Term Disability insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending optionsPaid Time Off and Bereavement LeaveTuition Assistance Program401(k) savings plan with 4% employer match
