As a CT Technologist, you will perform a wide variety of technical procedures, primarily focusing on CT scans, while also utilizing your X-ray experience. Your role will require independent judgment, critical thinking, and the initiative to apply your skills effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies.
- Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections
- Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems
- Maintain patient confidentiality and practice infection control in compliance with OSHA standards
- Complete annual mandatory education, including bloodborne pathogens and infection control
- Maintain department competencies as required
- Possess excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and Tiger Text format
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- ARRT (CT) Certification required
- Massachusetts Radiology license required
- Active American Heart Association BLS required
- Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
- Ability to function independently in a high-stress, work-intensive environment
- Must have own vehicle for this need
