CT TechnologistAs our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations i.e. Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro and Interventional ProceduresAssists Interventional Radiologist by accurately scanning the area of interest requested by Radiologist i.e.

biopsies and drainagesEnsures patient is ready for scan i.e. confirms appropriate gauge IV needle, appropriate type/dose of contrast and allergy statusAccurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department specific forms per protocol i.e. completes exams in Radnet, incident reports/extravasation forms, patient contrast information forms, side/site forms and documents exam information in CT logPerforms protocol management by evaluating and determining area of interest and type of scan to be performed on patient, consults physician as necessaryEncourages good working relationships, promotes team effort within the department by communicating in a positive manner and motivates staffRequired:Completion of approved American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent approved Radiologic Technologist Program.Two years CT Tech experienceMust hold and maintain AZ DHS Bureau of Special Licensing CRT: Certified Radiologic Technologist (CT CRT) and CTCT: Certified Technologist/Computed TomographyAZ Drivers License (DRV LIC)Must also hold and maintain national American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (CT ARRT) andAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)Preferred:Three years of CT experience
