The posted compensation range of $37.40 - $55.63/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.
- Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations i.e. Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro and Interventional Procedures
- Assists Interventional Radiologist by accurately scanning the area of interest requested by Radiologist i.e. biopsies and drainages
- Ensures patient is ready for scan i.e. confirms appropriate gauge IV needle, appropriate type/dose of contrast and allergy status
- Accurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department specific forms per protocol i.e. completes exams in Radnet, incident reports/extravasation forms, patient contrast information forms, side/site forms and documents exam information in CT log
- Performs protocol management by evaluating and determining area of interest and type of scan to be performed on patient, consults physician as necessary
- Encourages good working relationships, promotes team effort within the department by communicating in a positive manner and motivates staff

Job Requirements
Required
- Completion of approved American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent approved Radiologic Technologist Program and
- Medical Radiographer: AZ, and
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS), and
- CT Radiology Tech: AZ, and
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, or
- Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, or
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, or
- Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, or
- Registered Technologist Mammography, or
- Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or
- Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, or
- Registered Technologist Quality Management, or
- Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, or
- Registered Technologist Vascular Interventional Rad, or
- Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography
Preferred
- Three years of CT experience
