We have an excellent opportunity available now as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for evening/weekend shifts.
This full-time position has an evening/weekend work schedule (40 hours/week) and is located at Huntington‑Hill Imaging Center in Pasadena.
Pay Range: $40/hour - $54/hour
Status: Full‑Time, non‑exempt
Schedule
- 40 hours/week (8‑hour shifts)
- Weekdays: 12 pm‑9 pm (variable between 8 am‑5 pm and 12 pm‑9 pm)
- Weekends: 7:30 am‑4:00 pm (every other weekend)

What You Will Do
- Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Perform CT procedures, obtain patient history, prepare patients for exams, perform venipuncture for IV contrast, provide patient education, ensure cooperation & safety, monitor for adverse reactions.
- Ensure appropriate indications are present for CT procedures ordered and contraindications to contrast are explored.
- Follow policies concerning quality assurance.
- Meet work performance expectations as stated in personnel policy and technologist evaluation.
- Assist office staff with scheduling patients and maintaining records.
- Maintain required continuing medical education units set forth by the ARRT.
- Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.
- Keep CT suite clean, stocked, and prepared for all procedures.
- Complete paperwork and billing functions.
- Request and order supplies as needed.
What You Will Bring
- At least three years of experience as a CT Technologist in a clinic environment; experience in an acute care setting.
- Required certifications in ARRT (CT), CRT, and Venipuncture.
- Valid California driver’s license.
- CPR certification.
- Basic understanding of commercial and managed care insurance.
- Familiarity with ACR guidelines.
- Familiarity with PACS systems – DR Systems preferred.
