Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Manager, performs a wide variety of specific and specialized duties and procedures for in‑patients and out‑patients in accordance with physicians’ orders. Possesses knowledge of radiology procedures and CT policies, uses independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative, and works cooperatively with physicians, nurses and other technical staff. Performs primarily CT exams and floats to X‑ray as needed while managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Follow departmental guidelines and protocols for all diagnostic radiology and CT procedures, including infection control policies.
- Schedule and document exams, maintaining accurate and complete records.
- Perform quality control on all equipment according to standard procedures.
- Greet patients, provide exam education and complete medical records for the radiologist.
- Prepare, administer and document all contrast material/injection information as required by policy.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- American Registry of Rad Tech (ARRT) license.
- Massachusetts Registered Radiographer in Computed Tomography.
- Certificate in Basic Life Support.
- 0–1 year related work experience.
- Proficient with computer systems, including web‑based applications and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT in Computed Tomography.
- Experience with PACS and CR technology and at least 1 year of CT scan experience.
- Experience with IV placement for contrast injections.

Physical Nature Of The Job
Heavy work: Exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally or 50 pounds frequently. Requires extended periods of standing and/or moving.
Pay Range
$47.00 – $69.84 per hour.
