Schedule: Nights – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Pay Range: $70 – $75 per hour
Job Summary
Pride Health is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with a strong possibility of extension. The CT Technologist will provide safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services to adult and pediatric patients in routine and emergent clinical settings. Candidates must have ARRT CT certification, AHA BLS certification, and Level I Trauma experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT and radiologic procedures and review relevant clinical history.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized CT and radiologic equipment.
- Properly position patients while maintaining safety, comfort, and privacy.
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Review completed studies to ensure technical quality and compliance with department protocols.
- Transfer images and technical data to appropriate archival systems for physician interpretation.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and patient records.
- Perform equipment quality control checks, cleaning, disinfection, and routine maintenance.
- Follow established safety, regulatory, accreditation, and departmental standards.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program or applicable CAAHEP-accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical imaging, positioning, medical terminology, and medical ethics.
- Ability to work effectively in routine and emergent situations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- Experience working with adult and pediatric patient populations.
- Previous experience in acute inpatient or Level I Trauma settings.
Schedule & Additional Information
- On-call requirement: 1x per month.
- 13-week contract with possible extension.
