Job Summary

As a CT Technologist, you will provide computed tomographic radiographs to patients following physicians’ orders. You will prepare patients for CT exams, explain procedures, and ensure technical quality.

What You Will Do

• Prepare patients for CT exams, explain procedures, and ensure technical quality.
• Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting mandatory/continuing education requirements.
• Apply knowledge of medical terminology for accurate work within the Imaging Department.
• Work as a team player and meet the needs of the Imaging Department.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree, Diploma or BSRT degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT/TMB license is required.
• Current registration with ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.
