Salary Range: Min = $30.67; Mid = $38.34; Max = $46.01
Summary: The CT Technologist performs routine, emergent, cardiac, and interventional CT procedures adhering to department protocols on patients of all ages; practices safe radiation dosing for patients including image gently and insure all required QA is completed; maintains a clean and safe workplace.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergent CT examinations including obtaining and documenting pertinent patient history, explaining the procedures to the patient, answering the patient's questions, and gaining the patient's written consent.
- Execute cardiac and CT interventional procedures.
- Use safe radiation practices according to ARRA regulations and licensing restrictions while applying common sense approaches to everyday issues, such as reducing dose exposures to neonatal and adolescent patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 0 years experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA)
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- Computerized Tomography Technologist (CTCT)
- Associates Degree or Graduate of qualifying Program (AMA, JCERT, etc.)
