Job Summary

$20,000 sign on bonus for eligible applicants!! This posting reflects an opening for a MRI Technologist I and we are seeking candidates for that position. Job Duties

  • Performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
  • Plans and performs all CT procedures and post processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy and established protocols.
  • Ensures protocols are based on guidelines and CT scanner’s integration into the program that compiles dose data from each scan performed and notifies the user when a scan exceeds preset levels.
  • Provides technical expertise to operate CT Scanners, power injectors and computer systems to acquire images for the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
  • Maintains knowledge to operate different CT Systems at multiple locations.
  • Maintains protocols based on Image Gently Guidelines and dose monitoring.
  • Obtains CT images according to established protocols, ensuring patient is prepared, positioned, immobilized, shielding used when applicable and correct technical factors selected.
  • Performs CT Interventional Procedures and CTA imaging (Carotid, Head, Vertebral, Run‑Offs, PE with critical bolus timing).
  • Conducts advanced CTA studies such as TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
  • Monitors pharmacology to ensure lab results are obtained prior to scheduled exam.
  • Applies knowledge of physiology and physics to produce quality scans in suboptimal conditions and lower patient dose.
  • Interprets technical factors to increase quality or speed of scan.
  • Works in a clinical environment and complies with all organization policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required).
  • Certification: Basic Life Support Certification – Default Issuing Body.
  • Certified Radiology Technologist within 12 months of certification – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Knowledge of major organ systems, vascular systems for thoracic, abdominal, pelvic, neuro, and musculoskeletal imaging.
  • Experience with image acquisition, patient preparation, protocol selection, and dose monitoring.
  • Ability to perform interventional and advanced CTA studies.
