Hourly Taxable: $3,021 Weekly ($16.50 per hour on W2 + $2,402.25 Weekly Nontaxable Reimbursement)

Description:

  • Requires the utilization of appropriate kV and mA techniques to insure quality diagnostic CT images.
  • Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment in order to ensure the equipment is calibrated and working properly before any patient study is performed.
  • Injects patients with radioactive material as per the physician’s order following the prescribed protocol.
  • Observes all department documentation policies by filling in all appropriate logs, manuals, charge documents, as well as, reporting equipment problems in order to comply with regulatory agencies.
  • Performs quality control, quality assurance and safety tests. Follow radiation safety guidelines to comply with ALARA principle.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Graduate of Radiologic Technolgist
  • At least 1 year of CT experience.
  • Requirements include licensing with NYS DOH in Radiologic Technologist, ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
  • BLS certification.

Additional:

  • Work Hours: 1. M-f 4pm-12am | 2. M-F 12am-8am | 3. SAT/SUN 8am-8pm | 4. SAT SUN 8pm-8am
