The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) procedures under physician supervision, utilizing advanced equipment to aid in patient diagnosis across all ages.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Performing diagnostic and interventional CT studies while practicing radiation safety.
- Using sterile techniques when required and demonstrating proper patient positioning.
- Operating CT equipment and support systems such as HIS, RIS, PACS, and teleradiography, and evaluating image quality.
- Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications
Graduate from a radiologic technology program with current certification or eligibility by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; CT certification within 24 months of hire. Valid state radiographer license and CPR certification are required.
