In accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures, performs computerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients under the guidance of a radiologist.
Responsibilities:
- Technical knowledge of various diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the utilization of all aspects of the department's radiology information system.
- Accurately interprets and follows physician's scanning instructions and prescription.
- Uses independent judgment and necessary skills in order to obtain high quality CT images.
- Educates patient on the entire process that the patient will undergo for CT procedure.

• Successful completion from an AMA approved Radiologic TechnologyProgram with ARRT Certification.
• Certification in CT is highly preferred.Certification in CT through the ARRT is mandatory within one year from date of hire.
• Minimum 2 years as experienced CT Technologist, preferably withPhilips experience.
• 3D Imagingexperience highly preferred.
• Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
• Venipuncture and Contrast Administration Validation within onemonth of hire date.
• Ability to workas a contributing member of a highly functioning, cooperative and efficientteam.
• Excellentcommunication skills.
• Ability to workindependently.
