Full-Time CT Technologist Touchstone Medical Imaging

4-day Schedule in 2 locations: 7:30am-6pm Monday-Thursday

This position primarily performs CT imaging at our Lafayette location, with a cross-coverage expectation for X-Ray as needed. The technologist will provide X-Ray walk-in coverage during the final two hours of the shift, beginning at approximately 4:00 p.m., after the full-time X-Ray technologist has completed their scheduled day.

Future scheduling may include the opportunity to transition to five 8-hour shifts at the Lafayette location based on operational needs. Candidates must be comfortable and competent providing cross-coverage in X-Ray as needed.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Administer contrast media in accordance with physician orders and company policies
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain CT equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
• Current CPR certification
