We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a high-acuity imaging team in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma environment. This weekend-only position offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to work with advanced CT technology.
Position: Travel CT Technologist
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Hours: 24 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: As specified in the contract
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT examinations.
- Operate advanced CT equipment while ensuring optimal image quality.
- Administer contrast media in accordance with facility policies and safety guidelines.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with radiation safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum recent experience in a Level I Trauma Center
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Kansas Board of Healing Arts license (or eligibility to obtain upon offer)
- Experience operating GE Revolution 256 and/or Siemens Flash 128-slice CT scanners
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Weekend day shifts only
- No floating required
- No on-call requirement
- Holiday coverage required based on department needs
