CT Technologist (Computed Tomography Tech)
A leading healthcare organization in Florence, SC is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Administer contrast agents when appropriate and monitor patients for reactions
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain ALARA standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide timely, accurate diagnostic images
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT(R) certification required; CT certification preferred or registry-eligible
- Current South Carolina licensure (or eligibility)
- BLS certification required
- Strong attention to detail, patient care, and communication skills
- Previous CT experience preferred
