CT Technologist in Fredonia, NY

We are seeking a skilled CT/X-ray Technologist with expertise in CT, X-ray, and PET imaging to join as a full-time team member in a contract position. Schedule:

• Varied shifts to ensure full-time coverage (36 hours/week minimum)
• Potential shift times: 3p-11p, 1p-9p, 11a-11p, or occasional 9a-9p

Qualifications:

• Current NYS Radiologic Technologist license
• Valid NY injection license
• Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Proficient in CT and X-ray imaging; experience with PET/CT is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT, X-ray, and PET scans for diagnostic and treatment purposes
• Follow established imaging protocols and safety guidelines
• Assess images for quality and communicate results to physicians and care teams promptly
• Ensure accurate electronic medical record documentation
• Respond efficiently to shift needs and adapt to varying schedules as needed
• Provide compassionate care, maintaining patient comfort throughout procedures
