Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Utilizing advanced radiographic and CT imaging techniques to generate diagnostic images with the utmost clarity
- Working together with radiologists and care providers to achieve accurate and timely diagnoses
- Ensuring patient positioning and equipment calibration are on point for ideal imaging outcomes
- Adhering to safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues from unnecessary radiation
- Keeping comprehensive records, including imaging logs and maintenance tracking for equipment
- Delivering empathetic care and understanding throughout the patient experience
- Promoting a clean, secure, and smooth-running imaging department
- A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology is mandatory; a four-year degree is advantageous
- Graduation from an accredited radiology education program
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is essential
- Current BLS certification or the ability to procure it within 90 days of hiring
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging standards and safety practices
- Exceptional interpersonal communication with patients and professionals alike
