Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct radiographic and CT imaging procedures to procure diagnostic images for physician evaluation
- Team up with radiologists and healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnoses
- Vacate no detail unturned while positioning patients and calibrating imaging equipment
- Uphold radiation safety protocols for both patients and colleagues
- Maintain organized records of imaging logs and carry out regular equipment maintenance checks
- Offer compassionate patient care throughout the imaging experience
- Foster a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is a definite advantage
- Completion of an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
- Current BLS certification, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Comprehensive understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety practices
- Effective communication abilities with patients and patient care teams
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere and adapt quickly to diverse patient needs
- A meticulous eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility
- Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging technologies
