CT TechnologistThis role performs a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures.• Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations.• Conducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including biopsies, cardiac CT, and post-processing.• Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation.• Operate CT equipment and select technical factors and positioning/safety devices.• Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time.• Document all related data.• Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public and self.• Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient demographics.• Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.• Resolve and escalate complex issues.• Orient and train fellow staff technologists.• Develop and deliver training and in-service presentations.• Subject to on-call status including weekends and holidays.• Other shifts as assigned.• All other duties as assigned.Minimum of 3 years of experience is required essential, pediatric experience required, EPIC experience required, and Siemens experience required.Skills: Required Skills & Experience:Intermediate knowledge of computed tomography imaging.Intermediate knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).Intermediate knowledge of radiology information systems.Intermediate knowledge of HIPAA regulations.Basic proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent time management skills.Strong organizational skills.Education:Required Education: High school diploma or GED.Required Certifications & Licensure: -Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); OR -Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross).
