CT Technologist I or II - Weekend Option - up to $10k sign on bonus

The Computed Tomography Technologist Weekend Option is responsible for providing high-quality patient care during Computed Tomography (CT) procedures using approved workflows and procedural protocols. Working under direct supervision, this position uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of the human anatomy, aiding radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders. This role has a weekend option, requiring staff members to commit to WEO requirements and work two shifts within the WEO window for a premium rate.

Essential Job Function

• Operates head or body x‑ray scanners which create a computer‑generated cross‑sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan.
• Performs routine and special CT exams adhering to established protocols to minimize additional imaging and limit radiation dose, maintaining exam productivity within established benchmarks.
• Completes all exams and documentation in Computerized Health Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), accurately identifying all charges associated with studies and addressing errors for a seamless workflow.
• Educates and prepares patients for their examinations to enhance patient understanding and cooperation during testing and promote a positive patient experience.
• Demonstrates commitment to safe practices, Just Culture, and As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principles to eliminate errors and enhance patient outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging, or related educational program.

Licensure/Certification/Listing

• Required: Will accept any of the following licenses: ARRT: RT(R)(CT), RT(N)(CT), NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT); Combination of ARRT RT(N) and NMTCB(CT) or CNMT and ARRT(CT); Combination of ARRT RT(R) and NMTCB(CT) or ARRT RT(T) and NMTCB(CT); BLS (CPR) by American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
