Job Summary
The CT technologist assists physicians in performing diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
What You'll Do
- Work in a team environment that promotes collaboration, diversity, and patient safety.
- Prepare patients for CT procedures and operate CT equipment.
- Ensure all CT scans are performed with appropriate safety protocols.
What We're Looking For
- Education:
- Associate Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Graduate of ARRT‑approved Radiography Program or ARRT‑approved or NMTCB‑recognized Nuclear Medicine Program is required.
- Experience: One year experience in CT preferred.
- Licensure / Certification:
- ARRT certification in CT (RT(R), RT(N), or CNMT) at time of hire.
- Certification within 6 months of hire and state license required.
- IV credentialed and applicable state license required.
- Additional Skills (required): Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to patient age‑specific needs, prepare patients for procedures, operate CT equipment.
