Job Summary
As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day you will create detailed cross‑sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities
- Execute all diagnostic CT studies and operate equipment including General Electric CT scanners, workstations, Macintosh G3 computers, and associated patient care equipment.
- Deliver patient care for all age groups, acting as a liaison between the patient and the radiologist.
- Perform incidental office duties necessary to maintain a timely and complete patient record.
- Perform Quality Assurance audits and activities as assigned.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence by using appropriate communication tools and understanding how cultural differences affect collaboration and patient care. Provide care to the specific populations served by the department.
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, including coursework in cross‑sectional anatomy.
- One year of work experience in the senior level of the core job family or other experience demonstrating ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
- Basic Life Support – CPR.
- Medical Radiographer certification in Washington.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of work experience as a CT Technologist.
Pay Range
$42.00 – $64.67 per hour
