Company Description Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital is a Catholic based nonprofit healthcare organization in Garfield Heights Ohio.

Role Description The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging examinations in an accurate, safe, and timely manner to support diagnostic and therapeutic care. Day-to-day duties include preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process in a clear and respectful manner, positioning patients and operating CT equipment, and following established protocols to capture diagnostic images. The role involves adhering to radiation safety standards, verifying patient identification, reviewing clinical information, and collaborating closely with radiologists, nurses, and other care team members. The CT Technologist also monitors equipment performance, assists with quality assurance activities, documents procedures in the electronic medical record, and supports a culture of patient safety and service excellence. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Garfield Heights, OH.

Qualifications

  • Certification and professional credentials: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiologic Technology, with CT certification or eligibility preferred.
  • Technical imaging expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of Radiologic Technology and Radiology practices, including CT imaging protocols and equipment operation.
  • Safety and clinical practice: Strong understanding of Radiation Safety principles and standards, and foundational knowledge of Medicine relevant to imaging procedures.
  • Education and experience: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program; prior CT technologist or radiology experience in an acute care or outpatient setting is beneficial.
  • Patient care and communication: Ability to provide compassionate, trauma-informed patient care, maintain confidentiality, and communicate clearly with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Professional skills: Attention to detail, reliable time management, ability to follow protocols, adapt to changing priorities, and participate in ongoing training and continuing education.
