Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking CT Technologists to join a newly opened Free-Standing Emergency Department in Rock Hill, South Carolina . This state-of-the-art facility will provide 24/7 emergency care to a rapidly growing community and is equipped with advanced diagnostic and imaging technology.

What You'll Be Part Of
As a member of the team at this new Free-Standing Emergency Department, you will:
- Work in a newly constructed emergency department equipped with advanced diagnostic technology
- Provide prompt, compassionate care to patients presenting with emergent medical conditions
- Collaborate with experienced physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff
- Help establish workflows, best practices, and culture as part of a new facility launch
- Support a growing community by expanding access to high-quality emergency healthcare
Diagnostic Imaging & Patient Care
- Perform CT scan examinations for patients of all ages in an emergency department setting
- Assess patient condition and ensure safe positioning and preparation for imaging procedures
- Operate CT imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate patient imaging records and documentation
- Utilize PACS and imaging systems for image storage and retrieval
- Ensure all documentation meets clinical and regulatory standards
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly
- Maintain imaging equipment, supplies, medications, and patient care materials
- Follow established imaging protocols and safety procedures
- Participate in departmental Performance Improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and healthcare regulations
- Support department quality assurance and patient safety initiatives
Education
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with an associate degree or equivalent
- Recent graduates may be considered if graduation is expected within 6 months
- 1-2 years of CT or radiologic technologist experience preferred
- Experience in emergency department or acute care imaging is a plus
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) license required
- Current graduates must obtain permanent SCRQSA license within 6 months of hire
- ARRT - CT certification preferred (registry eligible candidates considered)
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire
- Strong understanding of CT imaging procedures and patient positioning
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety awareness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
