Position Overview

Seeking a full-time imaging technician to operate computerized imaging equipment, assist patients and physicians, and monitor imaging processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform computerized imaging procedures such as CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy.
  • Assist and support patients physically and psychologically during screening and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of imaging equipment, software, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor imaging equipment and ensure proper operation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer software and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to provide physical and emotional support to patients.
  • Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Licensure/certification in radiologic or nuclear medicine technology, including ARRT or NMTCB credentials, with specific qualifications based on the role.
  • Less than one year of experience in computerized imaging or recent graduation from a CT certification program; experience in diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, or MRI is preferred.
