Job Summary And Qualifications

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician and for the day‑to‑day activities that ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do In This Role

  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide appropriate care for patient populations in the department.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflecting the patient’s age‑specific needs.
  • Assess patients' and families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout the CT procedure.
  • Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What Qualifications You Will Need

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited 24‑month Radiological Technology Program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ARRT registered.
  • CT Certification is strongly preferred or must be acquired within 6 months of employment.
  • A minimum of 1 year of CT experience is strongly preferred but not required.
