The role involves patient positioning, performing scans using correct technical factors, and following departmental workflows for image acquisition, documentation, and archiving.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and explaining procedures
- Administering contrast media and initiating IVs in accordance with policies
- Ensuring accurate documentation, charging, and image quality
- Maintaining supplies and patient confidentiality
- Collaborating with team members and adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Registered in Radiography (ARRT) and within 1 year, in CT (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist with related education or certification
- Accepts new graduates
