As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

  • Operate diagnostic CT equipment, including General Electric CT scanners and workstations, to perform all diagnostic CT studies according to formal protocols.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care across all age groups, explaining procedures, addressing questions, and acting as a liaison between the patient and radiologist.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and document patient care notes and incident reports as needed during the CT procedure.
  • Ensure patient comfort and protection from radiation by utilizing appropriate procedures, accessories, and consulting protocol manuals to minimize exposure.
  • Complete all assigned examinations, including filming, jacket retrieval, and locating old images, while recording applicable exam codes and supplies used.
  • Perform incidental office duties, enter patient data into computer databases, and conduct Quality Assurance audits as assigned to maintain timely and complete patient records.

Required

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, (including course work in cross-sectional anatomy and/or demonstrated skill/knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy), upon hire and
  • One year of work experience in the senior level of the core job family or
  • any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support (through AHA) - CPR, upon hire and
  • Medical Radiographer: WA, upon hire

Preferred

  • One year of work experience as a CT Technologist
