Overview
The CT technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the patient and operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans as part of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: 2 Year/Associate Degree, Preferred.
- Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, Required.
- Experience: 1 year experience in CT, Preferred.
Licensure/Certification
- NH Medical Center - Certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, Required.
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department - Certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), Required.
- Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, Required.
- Applicable state license, Required
