CT Technologist (CT Tech) - Outpatient

Foundation Health Partners (FHP) is looking for Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists to join the Outpatient team!

Pay & Benefits

• Compensation: $36.44 to $58.30 hourly wage based on experience and education

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures by following and verifying referring provider’s orders, using independent judgment and learned methodologies per established policy and procedures.
• Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment; demonstrates professional behavior and fosters teamwork for efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes.
• Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation; prepares and maintains accurate documentation.
• Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable in accordance with established policies.
• Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements; troubleshoots and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance. Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Adheres to safety policies.
• Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to the radiology practice, including maintaining confidentiality of all work information.
• Assures efficient workflow of the department; monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and materials to ensure uninterrupted services.

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited radiologic technology program or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) required.

National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the state regulatory agency, if applicable.

Advance certification by an accrediting body in specialty required within 18 months of hire if applicable.

BLS certification required.

Requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, data analysis, and problem‑solving abilities. Registry and travel positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in the area of specialty within the past 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
