Job Description

This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. As a CT Technologist at Baptist, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety, aligning with our mission to make hope, healing, and well‑being accessible to every person as an expression of God’s love. Our CT Technologists deliver high quality imaging services, ensure the comfort and safety of patients, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for procedures (administering IV contrast & positioning), providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

Qualifications

• 1‑2 years radiology technologist experience.
• Customer service experience.
• High‑quality experience working in a hospital setting.

Requirements

• If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
• Positions requiring a level II Background (detailed fingerprint‑based screening for positions of trust that check state and national criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
