CT Technologist, CT Scan Department, PRN, Baptist Downtown

Baptist Health is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at our Baptist Downtown. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.

Our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services, ensuring both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast and patient positioning, providing clear explanations and education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience
• Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography (ARRT)
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - State Radiologic Health Branch
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
• Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH
• Driver's License - DMV
• Must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
• Positions requiring a Level II Background (A detailed fingerprint‑based screening for positions of trust that checks state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
