Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida.

This is a full-time opportunity. At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensuring both the comfort and safety of patients, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast and patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

As a CT Technologist, You Will Be Responsible For

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operating CT equipment and ensuring proper maintenance.
• Collaborating with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhering to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educating patients on the CT process and answering any patient questions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years Radiology Technologist Experience
• Customer Service Experience
• Experience Working in a Hospital Setting

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
