Job Description
CT Technologist – CT Scan at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center. Per diem; variable 8-hour shifts. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, administering patient care, and collaborating with radiologists and other clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic CT imaging procedures using age‑specific criteria.
- Provide patient, family, and public customer service and support.
- Participate in quality‑control and performance‑improvement activities.
- Act as a clinical and technical resource for other technologists and radiologists.
- Maintain flexibility for call schedules, job assignments, and shift changes to meet department staffing needs.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
- Valid California radiologic technologist license upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography within 1 year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience performing pediatric and adult CT scans in a hospital or outpatient imaging center.
